In fact, employers who hope to keep their heads above water are being forced to shed as many jobs as possible, particularly within the health care sector itself, which is hit especially hard with rationed reimbursements and increased taxes. Boston Scientific, for example, a medical-device company that provides everything from life-saving cardiac pacemakers to laser-therapy systems, recently announced that it is laying off 1,200 to 1,400 employees. Meanwhile, the same company is investing $150 million and hiring 1,000 people in Red China because the communists have less burdensome government regulations than Barack Obama's America.
