Nice work (and it brought back some nice memories), but the star-child in 2001/2010, the girl in Solaris, the mutants in Total Recall, and the scientists in Andromeda Strain, and the illustrated figure in Contact aren't aliens. And to be technical, the energy creature in Forbidden Planet wasn't really an alien either.

  3. Good video, but it skims over the Fifties and Sixties far too quickly! Some landmark films it should have included are Invaders from Mars, It Came From Outer Space, the first two Quatermass films, The Man From Planet X, This Island Earth, and I Married a Monster From Outer Space. Maybe even throw in the giant extraterrestrial robot from Kronos.
