Hard to imagine why this show (the first ever German ScFi series) lasted less than three months. In English, the title was Space Patrol Orion. Here's Wikipedia:

ReplyDeleteActually, if you eliminate the couples aspect, it's not all that different from line dances like Electric Slide or the Macarena. (Watch it with the sound off.) The ice dancing pairs move at the end, while silly on the dance floor, also looked kind of familiar. Downright prescient.
